Looplife Polymers was created in 2013, by merging the acquired know-how of two recycling leaders in their respective field.

It specialized in the recycling of polyolefins (Polyethylene, Polypropilene) and bio-based polymers (Polylactide). Since 2014, specific compounded grades based on recycled material are also available.

In 2016, the company has been acquired by DESPRIET GEBROEDERS NV.

Upcycling

With today's concerns about financials and environmental issues, recycled materials are now often becoming a prime choice.

In many cases however, post-industrial or post-consumer plastic streams loose some of their original technical specifications and are therefore confined to less-atrractive downcycling applications. LOOPLIFE POLYMERS aims at developping specific recycling technologies to enhance properties of the reprocessed waste. We call it 'upcycling'.

Quality

Waste material are variable by nature. Even post-industrial material may present variations in its formulation that may affect properties of the recycled product. For industrial users of such recycled grades however, it is crucial that technical specifications and quality remain constant through deliveries.

This is why all our incoming waste materials are thoroughly analyzed before recycling. Besides, all processed grades are also checked for compliance with their relative datasheet (certificate of analysis on request).
